Currently accepting new clients in Western MA and New England.

Built for businesses where the owner is still in it.

I work best with established service businesses in New England where the owner is still deeply involved in day-to-day operations and needs financials that support real decisions.

Revenue between $500K and $5M

You've moved past the early scrappy stage. You have real revenue, real expenses, and real stakes. Your books need to keep pace with the business.

Owner still running the show

You're hands-on in the business and don't have a dedicated accounting person. You need someone reliable who keeps the books current and the numbers accurate without you having to manage it.

Growing and ready to get organized

Things are moving fast and the books have fallen behind. You want to get current, stay current, and have numbers you can actually make decisions with.

Service-based business model

You sell expertise, time, or labor rather than physical product. Your revenue and margin structure are straightforward, even if the operations aren't.

Bookkeeping and accounting, done well.

Core bookkeeping and accounting services, delivered monthly and scoped to your business. No hourly billing surprises, no waiting until tax season to find out something was wrong.

Free Consultation

We spend 30 minutes getting to know each other. You tell me about your business, I tell you what I do and whether we're a good fit.

02

Custom Proposal

I'll take a look at your books before putting numbers together. That lets me scope accurately and make sure the fee reflects what's actually involved.

03

Onboarding

I'll send you a simple access checklist: bank, credit card, payroll, loans, and your accounting software. Once I have read-only access to everything, we're ready to go.

About Ariana

Ten years of public accounting experience. None of the corporate overhead.

I started Ariana Hyland, CPA PLLC because too many business owners get to tax season and find out their books were a mess all year. Good bookkeeping shouldn't be something you scramble to fix in April. It should be running quietly in the background every single month, so your CPA can do their job without drama.

You deserve someone who's technically rigorous, communicates clearly, and actually understands the pressures of running a business. I bring CPA-level knowledge to bookkeeping and accounting work, which means your books are accurate, your financials mean something, and your CPA isn't cleaning up surprises at year-end.

I'm based in western Massachusetts and serve clients virtually across New England. Fully remote, fully functional.

Things people usually ask before reaching out.

Do I need to be local to work with you?
+
Not at all. I work entirely virtually and serve clients across New England. Everything is handled through cloud-based software. You'll never need to drive anywhere or drop off a box of receipts.
What accounting software do you work in?
+
I work in QuickBooks Online and Xero. If you're already on one of them, I'll work in your existing file. If you're on something else or starting from scratch, we'll sort out the right setup during onboarding.
How is your pricing structured?
+
Monthly fees average around $1,200 and are scoped based on the complexity of your business. Most clients fall in the $1,000 to $1,850 per month range. No hourly billing, no per-transaction charges. Reach out for a custom quote.
My books are a mess. Is that a problem?
+
No, and it's more common than you'd think. Part of onboarding often involves a historical cleanup. We'll figure out where things stand, get current, and establish a clean baseline going forward. It's a scoping conversation, not a dealbreaker.
I already have a CPA for taxes. Can we still work together?
+
Absolutely. I handle bookkeeping and monthly financials and coordinate with your tax preparer at year-end so handoff is smooth. Having a CPA-background bookkeeper often makes tax season considerably easier for everyone involved.
Do you handle bill pay or invoicing?
+
Base engagements include AP/AR reconciliation so your books accurately reflect what you owe and what you're owed. Full-service bill pay and invoicing are available as an add-on for clients who need it. If that's something you're looking for, mention it when we talk and we can scope it in.
What size businesses do you typically work with?
+
I work best with owner-led service businesses in the $500K to $5M annual revenue range. These are typically businesses where the owner is still hands-on, has real financial complexity, and needs a professional who can keep up.
